Rather than striving through artifice and intellectual force, Wu Wei advocates surrendering to the natural flow of existence. Paradoxically, this receptive stance accomplishes more than forceful intervention. When we release ourselves from the mental entropy of worry and analysis, we align with the Tao—the underlying order of the universe. This is not passivity but rather a profound receptiveness to reality's inherent patterns, allowing masterful action to emerge spontaneously without strain.
